The base engine in the Jeep Renegade is a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder that generates 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. There is also a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. Both are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Front-wheel drive is standard, but you can get all-wheel drive. This Jeep SUV has some sportiness, and its strong brakes and responsive steering make it a joy to drive. It’s especially fun to take off-road. If you go with the Trailhawk trim, you will get multiple skid plates, an advanced traction control system, and 8.7 inches of ground clearance.

Interior

Five people will fit very comfortably in the Jeep Renegade, and there is a large amount of headroom in both rows. Standard features include cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats. Leather, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and heated front seats can be added as well.

For a small SUV, the Jeep Renegade has great cargo room: 18.5 cubic feet in back of the rear row and 50.8 cubic feet when it’s folded. This new Jeep also comes with an assortment of standard tech components, such as:
