The Off-Roading Specialist
What makes this new Jeep SUV so formidable?
Trail Rated®
Every 2022 Jeep Wrangler sports a Trail Rated® badge earned through a series of challenging tests for ground clearance, traction, maneuverability, articulation, and water fording capability.
Multiple 4×4 Systems
The Command-Trac® 4×4 System delivers torque to all wheels when needed for added traction, including a 2.72:1 low gear range for rock crawling. The Selec-Trac® 4×4 System automatically switches to two-wheel drive on the road for increased efficiency and four-wheel drive when needed for traction on icy, muddy, or otherwise challenging surfaces. Finally, the Rock-Trac® 4×4 System offers more control and torque than other systems, including a 4:1 low gear ratio great for low-speed crawling.
Upgraded Tires
35-inch off-road tires are available on Jeep Wrangler Willys, Rubicon, and Rubicon 392 trims. They offer a class-leading 12.9-inch ground clearance plus 33.6 inches of water fording depth.
Tech Meets Adventure
Even the technology is off-road friendly. An available forward-facing off-road camera helps you spot upcoming obstacles, while an SOS button provides immediate access to emergency services, just in case. Like our other Jeep models, there’s also the Uconnect® infotainment system that helps you stay connected no matter where you are
